Social Responsibility

At UAP, we take a long-term view of our role in the overall development of the country. Our core values include sustainability and symbiotic value creation, where all stakeholders can grow together and create positive externalities as an intended result of our work. Given this outlook, UAP as a company and its team are active participants in various programs working towards the upliftment of disenfranchised and marginalized sections of society.

The partners of UAP are the founders of Manav Sadhan Vikas Sanstha (MSVS), where UAP Managing Partner Uma Prabhu is a founder-trustee and Chairperson of the Trust. MSVS is a charitable trust registered under the Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950, and has been working for the sustainable development of the country’s backward regions for over 15 years.

MSVS endeavors to bring about upliftment of the underprivileged and neglected regions of the country through its unique approach called the Parivartan Kendra Model, a replicable model of holistic human development that includes, among other things, building the capacity of rural and urban society, empowering them, and providing them with sustainable livelihoods through thoughtful, innovative, and community-led programs.

MSVS has been active across a wide spectrum of development initiatives, ranging from education, healthcare, and sustainable agriculture to women’s empowerment, tourism, and information technology. You can learn more about the work done by MSVS by clicking on the button below.
